Homeschool on the mountaintop

I named this post homeschooling on the mountain top because if you think about it, at times it is. Mountains can be many things to people. You can either climb it by hand, use a rope to help you up, or even walk around it. Homeschooling is that mountain for me in my life. Now, mind you im not negatively saying this. Mountains have great beneficial factors to it if we allow them to teach us. When you start climbing the mountain, at first it will be smooth. But as you continue to climb, the way gets tougher and longer and you start to mediate if you made the right choice. As you climb you can see the beautiful skies in the distance, knowing you are almost there. There are also times on the mountain where it will be hard to climb up, and you may even fall and have to reroute. All of these are normal experiences that you will go through while homeschooling. You have to remember to continue to climb because the result is so beneficial. You are teaching your children while you are also being taught as well. You are learning patience and discipline. Homeschooling is not an easy task but it can be accomplished with faith. Keep pushing and climbing that mountain top, because eventually you will get to the top and see the beauty of the accomplishment. Peace and I hope I have provoked thought today.๐ŸŒน

P.S. On Friday I sent the paperwork to officially close out the 2021-2022 school year. Both girls have passed and they are on to Grade 5 and Grade 3. I will also be adding my soon to be 2 year old to the class for Pre-K. ๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒนOn to the next journey...

A quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr from I've been to the mountaintop.

"And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over and seen the Promised Land...Im not fearing anything, I'm not fearing any man...mine eyes have seen the coming of the glory of Yahuah". More to come about this Last speech. ๐ŸŒน
